About Us

Names:  John Cahill and Anne-Julie Laforest

From:  Montreal, Quebec


Here is some quick information about us. We decided to take a year off from work so we could get out of our comfort zones, try new things, spend time together and explore new places. We made the decision to both leave our jobs for 12 months so we can travel around South East Asia for a year. The trip is going to start in Indonesia in June of 2012, we are planning to be home by June of 2013. 

We're hoping to learn a lot about the world, ourselves and everything in between. 

As for the name of our blog? Well, a few people asked us why we would do what we're doing, and the easiest answer was "Pourquoi pas?",  so this is what we decided to call our blog!
